Artist Statmement
Art has always been a quiet thread connecting my spirit, my story, and my service. As a mixed-media artist, I am drawn to texture, color, and movement—working in paint pouring, abstract compositions, and layered materials that reflect both the natural world and the unseen.
My work is rooted in faith and reflection, often exploring themes of redemption, beauty, and spiritual resilience. Each piece is created with care and intention, whether it is a floral still life, an abstract expression, or a textured cross carrying deeper meaning.
After years working in higher education, I returned to painting with a renewed sense of purpose. I simply hope to create art that offers a moment of peace, encouragement, or connection. I believe art can be a gentle space for healing and reflection.
